There have been three Doctor Who films produced.

Of these movies, three different actors have portrayed the Doctor.

The First cinema movie was loosely based upon the Doctor Who story "The Daleks", this motion picture was produced in 1965.

The second of the Hartnell-era cinema films, was produced in 1966. The movie was based upon the Doctor Who story "The Dalek Invasion of Earth".

The Enemy Within was produced in 1996 for television. Unlike the previous two movies, this film continued the story line of the television series.
